On the men's side Denis Ablyazin, Aleksandr Balandin, David Belyavsky, Emin Garibov, Konstantin Pluzhnikov, Nikita Ignatyev, Sergey Khorokhordin and Igor Pakhomenko were chosen.
On the ladies side the team chosen is Ksenia Afansyeva, Viktoria Komova, Aliya Mustafina, Anastasia Grishina, Tatiana Nabieva, Julia Inshina, Maria Paeska and Anastasia Sidorova.
If this is the case I am gutted to see Anna Dementyeva and Anna Pavlova didn't make the cut- both beautiful, truely artistic gymnasts who just didn't seem to have the difficulty. Floor specialist Yulia Belokobylskaya also seems to have missed out.
